The most important information about the Sniper Assassin mission and mode

In the Last Yardbird mission (and other Sniper Assassin mode missions to be added later), you can play alone or in collaboration with another player. We recommend exploring the map in single player mode first.

In Sniper Assassin mode, you cannot move freely around the map. The character uses a sniper rifle to eliminate mission targets and complete additional tasks. In the Himmelstein mission, all the shots are taken from a hill near a huge mansion.

In the Last Janitor mission, you have 15 minutes to eliminate three main targets. These are Dorian Lang, Guillaume Maison and Doris Lee. The game stops the time counter when the last person is killed. The mission may fail if you fail to meet the 15-minute time limit or if any of the targets escape from the area after the alarm sounds (like Dorian in the example above).

In addition to killing three targets, you need to get rid of 15 guards on the map. You can take care of them between eliminating the main targets or after killing Lang, Mason, and Lee (it's easier this way because the time counter will stop). If the alarm goes off, the guards will also try to leave the area (one at a time). Their escape does not mean that you will fail the mission. However, this will worsen your result.

It is recommended to use the instinct mode during this mission. In this mode, the main objectives of the mission and the guards for destruction are marked (in red). Thanks to this, you can easily localize your next goal and find a way to get rid of it without triggering the alarm.

In the "Sniper Killer" mode, the alarm mechanism is different from the story missions. When someone finds a body or notices a murder, a yellow icon appears above their head. Kill them before the icon turns white, otherwise they will trigger alarms all over the map and begin the evacuation process. First, try to eliminate the main goals. Only then take care of the guards - they always escape one by one. A red icon will appear above the head of the fleeing person (example in the picture above). Focus on killing this man, because the rest of the guards will stay in one place all the time.

The alarm will only work in the above cases. Shooting environmental objects such as walls or floors will not work. You can miss to distract your enemies (a question mark will appear above their head, as shown in the picture) and lure them to hidden places. After the opponent disappears from other people's field of view and approaches, for example, a balustrade or a water tank, you can easily kill him and get rid of his body at the same time.
